Since the Scottish Parliament opened in our permanent home at Holyrood, I have welcomed hundreds of constituents to visit the building, listen to debates or to lobby me on an issue of concern to them.

If you are involved in a group who would like to arrange a visit to Scotland’s Parliament, or are planning a visit yourself, please contact me at my Constituency Office in Argyle Street on 0141 589 71 20 or email me at pauline.mcneill.msp@scottish.parliament.uk to arrange to meet me.

The Scottish Parliament is responsible for a wide range of ‘devolved’ issues including, the health service, justice, education, local government, the environment, culture and sport. The UK Parliament, at Westminster, is responsible for ‘reserved issues’ such as defence, foreign policy, social security and pensions.  Glasgow City Council provides front-line services like, schools, social work, roads and lighting.   As your MSP you can contact me for assistance on any issue which is dealt with by the Scottish Parliament.  You should contact your MP to discuss national UK issues and contact your councillors for help with local services.  However, if you are unsure who to speak, then please contact my office for further advice as I will be happy to put you in touch with the appropriate representative.

In the Scottish Parliament I am currently the Scottish Labour Party’s spokesperson on justice affairs, but I also speak out on a wide range of issues of concern to local people in Glasgow Kelvin, such as student hardship, affordable housing, public transport and the environment.  If you would like more information about speeches I have made or positions I have taken, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me
