Pauline McNeill has been campaigning for peace and justice in Palestine since she was a student leader in the 1980s, she was a founder member of the Cross-Party Group on Palestine when the Scottish Parliament was established and has served Convener of the Group since 1999.

Pauline was a United Nations observer at the last Palestinian Authority elections but her most recent visit to the occupied territories was during the April 2008 Parliamentary recess when she led a Scottish delegation organised by Medical Aid for Palestinians.
