Show your support for Otago Lane!
On Saturday the 27th (Tomorrow) a demonstration is being held in the lane to protest the proposed redevelopment of the site.
I have been active in supporting the save Otago Lane campaign. As well as attending meeting I have taken the City Council Planning Dept to task over their application on the rules which apply to the lane in the city. It is my belief that planners are trying to reinterpret the rules in the city plan. Rest assured that I am fighting hard to stop this development as I believe that the development is inappropriate in size and character for the west end.
The event starts at 12 noon in the Lane. I look forward to seeing you there.
Dowanhill Primary School
On Thursday I was delighted to receive a visit in parliament from a group of P7 children from Dowanhill Primary School. The children were given a tour of the parliament and got the chance to watch First Ministers Question Time in the chamber
